Week 4 NFL picks (ATS)

What says SK?

Record: 1-8 😵

  • Pick 1: Bengals -4 vs. Dolphins
I need a win and I need a win early. No earlier time than TNF. THis is a textbook "I'm due" pick. Squish the fish.

  • Pick 2: Buccaneers -1 vs. Chiefs
Two divas past their prime. I'll take the team with the better D. Bucs take this one. Bonus pick: The UNDER is a mortal lock, as well.

  • Pick 3: Vikings -2.5 @ Saints
Is the London game considered primetime? I'm taking my chances that it isn't. Cousins comes out strong and blows this away early. NOLA will be looking for a new QB in the 2023 draft.

What says Don Vito?

Record: 4-5 😐

  • Pick 1: Giants +3 vs. Bears
I’m not entirely sure why the Giants love goofy white dudes at quarterback. Eli, Daniel… their facial expressions, and overall play, remind me of a Hieronymus Bosch painting. That being said, the Bears probably should’ve never fired Lovie Smith.

  • Pick 2: Rams +2.5 @ Niners
Shanahan has the kiss of death. Every skilled player that plays for him ends his season in a hospital somewhere. Jimmy G only survives because he isn’t skilled, he just game-manages his way into mediocrity. It won’t work this week. Rams right the ship.

  • Pick 3: Falcons +1 vs. Browns
I’m truly glad Myles Garrett is recovering well from his automobile accident. I hope he spends his weekend holding a clipboard on the sideline. Browns' D is bad with him and atrocious without him.

What says Stum?

Record: 2-7 🥴

  • Pick 1: Bengals -4 vs. Dolphins
Despite what the company line may be, Tua was definitely seeing stars last Sunday. The Dolphins defense is sore after playing 90 snaps in the sauna vs. Buffalo last week and now are playing on a short week - classic let down spot. Give me the Bengals at home in the ultra clean all-white unis.

  • Pick 2: Cowboys -3 vs. Commanders
Do we have a QB controversy brewing in Big D? Cooper Rush passed the eye test on MNF. Now you're telling me that I can take the better QB, the better defense, and only lay a FG at home? Pshhh say no more.

  • Pick 3: Packers -9.5 vs. Patriots
The Pack may only need to score ten points to cover this one. Brian Hoyer hasn't started a game at QB since 2020. Rodgers is different at Lambeau - major blowout potential here.

What says Goose?

Record: 7-2 (8-2*) 😏

  • Pick 1: Giants +3 vs. Bears
Giants get back in the win column against one of the worst teams in the league. Bears offense is atrocious. That's it.

  • Pick 2: Raiders -2.5 vs. Broncos
Raiders get in the win column Sunday. Look for McDaniels to open up the playbook for Carr and put up points early and often.

  • Pick 3: Rams +2.5 @ Niners
Ironically, Jimmy G coming in took the ceiling off this offense. Look for the Rams defense to regain their championship form in this tasty matchup for them.
